the foolish virgins were unprepared (did not have enough oil to fill their lamps as the Bridegroom had delayed his arrival) to meet the Bridegroom Jesus our Lord asnd hence did not enter into His banquet when the call was made announcing his arrival a symbol /representation of Jesus Second Coming with the Wise Virgins well prepared with extra oil able to enter into His Glory
